Josefina or “Bri” became passionate about health and wellness at a young age when her own health took a turn. It was through this troubling time in her life that she found acupuncture and yoga. She began to feel a sense of peace when the future was uncertain, and through treatment she experienced profound healing. From that point on it became her mission to share this practice with others.

Bri studied Studio Art and Biology at the University of New Mexico before applying to Acupuncture school. She completed her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Following graduation she received her Diplo. O.M. by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine upon completion of her national board examinations.

Furthermore, she received her Doctor of Oriental Medicine License by the New Mexico State Office of Boards and Commissions after passing the New Mexico Clinical Skills Board Examination.

Bri began teaching yoga after years of practicing in 2015 and and founded her acupuncture practice In 2019. she treats a wide variety of health concerns and specializes in women’s health and fertility, mental health disorders, and autoimmune conditions. She looks forward to meeting you!

Josephine sanders-spencer D.O.M.

Josephine or “Josie” is a licensed and board-certified acupuncturist & clinical herbalist, certified Lifestyle Coach with the CDC who was born and raised in Glorieta, NM.

She was introduced to the world of Chinese Medicine at the age of 11 after experiencing her own many injuries while training as a ballet dancer in Santa Fe, NM. Her love and curiosity continued to grow for the medicine when her mother was undergoing rigorous chemotherapy and was using acupuncture to help with the side effects. Through this, she witnessed a beautiful integration of western & eastern care and became fascinated by the importance of ancient paradigms of health.

Josie attended what was formerly called Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, now called Pacific College of Health and Sciences in San Diego, CA. After graduating in 2017, she travelled over seas to practice, she was even working as an acupuncturist with Royal Caribbean cruise lines.
The pandemic brought her to back home to New Mexico, where she has been enthusiastically providing her services back to her community.

Josie treats a wide variety of health concerns and specializes in Musculoskeletal Disorders, side effects of Chemotherapy/Radiation, Autoimmune Disorders, Digestive Issues, Mental/Emotional Disorders, & Pediatrics.
