Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a clinically validated medical intervention rooted in East Asian medicine and supported by modern research. Treatments involve the insertion of sterile, hair-thin needles at precise points to influence the nervous system, circulation, immune response, and internal organ function.
Conditions commonly treated (but not excluded to) include:
• Acute and chronic pain
• Stress, anxiety, and nervous system dysregulation
• Headaches and migraines
• Digestive disorders
• Hormonal and menstrual irregularities
• Sleep disturbances
• Fatigue and burnout
Why treatment by a Doctor of Oriental Medicine matters:
A DOM completes thousands of hours of graduate-level medical training in anatomy, physiology, pathology, diagnostics, and clinical acupuncture. Treatment goes far beyond symptom-based needling — it is rooted in pattern recognition, systems-based medicine, and individualized care.
Evidence support:
Acupuncture is supported by substantial evidence for pain management, migraine prevention, osteoarthritis, nausea, stress-related conditions, and autonomic nervous system regulation. Neuroimaging studies show acupuncture modulates brain regions associated with pain, emotion, and homeostasis.

NEW PATIENT EVALUATION AND TREATMENT
90 MINUTES $180 + tax
New patient treatments consist of collecting information regarding medication or herbal history, medical history, and an in depth interview of Chinese Medical diagnostic questions which compile a complete review of systems. Following the interview an intake will be done to address the patient’s chief complaint. Depending on the patients presentation a series of diagnostic tests may be done including any necessary physical exams. During the Chinese medical examination the practitioner may palpate points on the body, check pulses, and observe the patient’s tongue as a diagnostic method. The process will then be completed with an acupuncture treatment and follow up recommendations. Patients are advised to arrive 5-10 minutes early to complete patient paperwork or complete it online before coming in.
FOLLOW UP & RETURNING TREATMENTS
60 MINUTES $100 + tax
Follow up treatments are usually 60 minutes, they could be longer or shorter dependent on the patients pattern and time necessary for a full treatment. The price is not calculated based on time in the treatment room. We recommend that patients are seen 1/week for at least one month before re-evaluation. In follow up treatments we use the first 10-15 minutes discussing patient progress, concerns and complaints, then use the remaining time on the treatment table.

The Eastern approach to appearance enhancement and skin care is quite different than the common Western approach. Our primary interest is overall health and longevity and in turn a more elevated external appearance. After a comprehensive evaluation specific points will be used to treat the internal environment of the patient. Biomedical professional attribute the most common skin concerns (wrinkles, sagging skin, loss of muscle tone, and acne) as a result of environmental factors, genetics, and biochemical reactions. In order to harmonize this imbalance we must address the root cause of the disorder to alleviate common skin concerns as well as PREVENT the return. We also make recommendations regarding herbs and foods to supplement treatment and optimize results.
Through treatments we see a wide range of benefits including:
Reduced fine lines and wrinkles
Enhanced muscle integrity
Healthy hydrated appearance
Improved tone and texture
Smooth even complexion
Increased tissue hydration
Reduction of inflammation
Improved lymphatic drainage
Improvement of eyesight and visual clarity
